Vizroll Privacy Notice
Vizroll is local-first. You can use local projects without an account. Cloud Pro features are optional, require login, and are enabled project by project.
Local projects
Local projects are stored in this browser's IndexedDB. Vizroll does not receive those local project records unless you enable cloud sync for that project, send feedback that includes project details, or otherwise share/export data yourself.
Local backups, ZIP exports, PDF exports, CSV exports, clipboard actions, and installed PWA data remain under your control on the device or service where you save or share them.
Cloud Pro and shared projects
If you log in and enable cloud sync for a project, Vizroll stores cloud account and project data needed to run sync and sharing. This can include your email address, login session metadata, subscription or tester entitlement state, project names, project rows, category cards, tasks, tags, dates, costs, notes, dependency links, member roles, cloud revisions, and project event records.
Cloud sync is per project. Paying Cloud Pro users and entitled testers can enable it on a project, open that project on another device, and share access with friends, family, or collaborators who have logged in once. Editors can update shared projects. Viewers can open projects read-only.
Vizroll uses near-realtime project events plus revision checks to refresh open cloud projects while connected. If realtime delivery is unavailable, changes can still sync after a refresh or retry.
The current cloud beta syncs file reference metadata. Local attachment binaries are not treated as uploaded to cloud storage unless the app explicitly provides and completes an upload flow for that attachment.
Service providers
Vizroll uses service providers to operate the website and optional cloud features, including Vercel for hosting, analytics, and speed insights; Supabase for authentication, database, and realtime infrastructure; and Stripe for subscription checkout, billing, and customer portal flows.
If feedback delivery is configured, feedback you submit may be sent to the configured webhook or email provider so Vizroll can read and respond to it.
Your controls
- Use Vizroll locally without logging in.
- Enable cloud sync only on the projects you choose.
- Turn off cloud sync for a local project to stop that browser copy from uploading future changes.
- Remove shared members from projects you own or manage.
- Export your cloud account data from the account page.
- Delete your Vizroll Cloud account data from the account page. Local browser projects are not removed by that cloud deletion.
- Manage or cancel Stripe billing from the account page before deleting cloud account data if you have an active subscription.
- Delete local data from your browser storage if you want to remove local projects from a device.
Sharing and disclosure
Project data in a shared cloud project is visible to users with access to that project according to their role. Vizroll also shares data with service providers as needed to operate the app, process payments, secure the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or respond to user requests.
Vizroll does not sell local project data. If advertising, cross-context tracking, or new third-party data sharing is added later, this notice and the product controls should be updated before launch.
Security and retention
Vizroll uses account authentication, server-side entitlement checks, project membership checks, row-level security, rate limits, security headers, and import validation to reduce risk. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
Cloud project data is kept while the cloud account, workspace, project, or shared membership exists. Deleting cloud account data removes cloud records owned by that account and removes that account's memberships. Data in a project owned by another user may remain until that owner removes access or deletes their own cloud data.
Changes
This notice should be updated before shipping materially different data collection, cloud file storage, team administration, analytics, advertising, AI processing, or mobile-app distribution.
